Well, what can I say. I'm a big city guy living in a small small town in Western North Carolina. Barring the 2 screen nightmare theater from the dawn of time that we have here, The Mimosa 7 is the closest theater to me. All the screens are clean, free of holes or tears and reflect the light as they were made to. The projectors are wonderful, they're Christie DLP (Digital Light Projection) projectors that deliver amazing clarity, great sound, and a picture that someone can be proud of. The surround sound has never cut out or gone soft as I have seen/heard happen in other theaters that are supposed to be of higher caliber. The seating is ok, you don't ever get a head in your way because it's stadium style seating, but the seats themselves are not as comfortable as some of the other theaters I've been to. However for this area they are probably the best around. The staff has always been nice, a bit slow to get your concessions ready sometimes, but that happens everywhere. All in all I'd say it's probably the best theater out of all the ones in Burke, McDowell, Buncombe and Avery county.
