Live at 15 Cavalier Drive... managed by Great Western. Very bad experience with Great Western... after repeatedly telling them about problems.. they continue to ignore us. We had to crawl under the property to take pictures of the standing water after one of the maintenance staff looked and said there were no problems. After ignoring taking care of the place, now they have serious mold problems... the place is uninhabitable... makes us sick every time we go in there. When maintenance did come out, they agreed there was a serious problem... and told us they were serious about fixing it. More than one month later... nothing. When they have come out to do repairs, they do a poor job. With one exception, there is a maintenance man named Bruce who is sincere and does a good job... but you can not call him directly and he is very busy. We are excellent tenants... and they just screwed us. Very sad. Feel sorry for the owner of the house who is trusting the property to Great Western. Forced to have to give them "One Star" . DO NOT RENT FROM GREAT WESTERN.

It is not a tenants responsibility to solve the landlord's problems. Landlords are obligated to provide a "Habitable place to live"... and if they do not do that, you have a right to tell the public. Too bad they do not care about their tenants.

Seem like everyone has something to say about the company at hand but just voice what is wrong but never offer a way to help or try to service an issue. I just guess venting is a great way to put it out there and hope no one catches on that you have posted this random session of trash talking with out any solutions. We as people need to understand that with the good comes the bad, we all have the component, but it makes you feel great when your venting about someone and we can t see you. Guess what the Internet is built for..

I work for a utility company. I called Great Western Management for business purposes. I was appalled at the rudeness of one of the women in the office. Her tone of voice & words were clearly meant to be insulting. At one point she is telling me how the word "western" should be pronounced. Upper management needs to roll some heads right out of this office. I believe every negative review each tenant has given on this site. I also believe the positive reviews are given by the office personnel to offset the bad ones. As for "crack heads", why are you renting to "crack heads" anyway??

Applied for a job almost two months ago. Not only did they not get back to me
as they told me they would, they do not even pick up the phone or reply to emails regarding employment. If this is the way the conduct themselves not only would I not want to work for them but definitely would not want to rent a place that they manage. Now I understand why all the negative comments on the Web site. STAY away from this company!!!!
OK, it has now been many months since I took time out of my schedual not once
but twice to drive 50 miles round trip for a job interview. Still have not heard back from anyone with the company. This just shows what a low class crappy organization this is. They should be reported the the BBB.
Stay Away from this Place!!!!!!!

I have never wrote any reviews but I decided after reading some of the bad reviews about Great Western Management then I wanted to express my opinion.
I live at one of their properties in Arden and have been a resident for several years. I have had the pleasure of meeting Bridget and Pam and found them both to
be very nice, professional and ready and willing to help me and answer some questions. You know I feel like after meeting them that even though these are low income housing they both made me feel like I was the most important person and they really really care about the people and the properties they run. I feel like these 2 women complement each other and seem to work and get along great. They are an exceptional management team for Great Western Manaagement and they represent the company very professional. They are both an asset to the company and I am sure Mr. Morasoni is glad to have them, and my hat goes off to them both. Thank you for caring about all of us in the apts. Hope to see you two again real soon at Wood Bridge.

I have been living in an apartment which is run by Great Western Management Co. for over three years. I have found Michelle Loesekann to be not only very friendly and professional but also very accommodating. She enforces the rules so the rest of us don't have to live in a run down slum. As for walking in on people while they are going to the bathroom, every tenant is given several days notice as to when the manager will be entering the apartment to conduct inspections. I have been home during every inspection and they ALWAYS knock on the door prior to entering the apartment at which time they announce that they are here for inspection. Michelle is always doing things to maintain and even improve our complex, things such as putting in new doors, installing new energy efficient windows or renovating storage buildings just to name a few. It was said that the tenant notice informing the tenants to have their storage buildings empty was rude. It was said word for word by J.S. that the notice said "You MUST make sure your storage building is completely empty by tomorrow evening. No exceptions!" Obviously a storage building must be empty in order to be renovated. This tenant notice was simply expressing the importance of having the buildings emptied so that the renovation could begin. Maybe we should be grateful that Great Western Management Co. is constantly working to improve the apartment complexes in which we live instead of complaining about the way you interpreted the notice. Remember, they don't live in these complexes. They are doing these things for us. If they didn't care, they wouldn't put out the money or the effort to improve our homes. Referring to the comments above regarding the chained door, I have a few things to say. If chaining the doors is against the rules there are several other options to keep a curious toddler from escaping. There are many products on the market now which are made specifically to prevent toddlers from opening doors. I have noticed that the only people who have a problem with Michelle Loesekann are the people who do not want to follow the rules and have no respect for the apartment complex or those who live here. When I lost my home and my husband became disabled, I was forced to search for housing that would allow me to keep a roof over our heads. I inspected several "income based" apartment complexes and the one ran by Michelle Loesekann was BY FAR the cleanest, quietest and best maintained complex I found. Michelle has gone out of her way to assure that those of us who live here do not have to live in a run down complex. Michelle makes sure the apartment complex is extremely well maintained, clean, and any necessary repairs are made immediately. Due to the lack of respect by some tenants, apartment complexes can quickly resemble the county landfill with loud parties which go on through the night, but because Michelle cares about her apartment complexes and wants us to have a nice place to live she goes above and beyond the call of duty to prevent that from happening. Many income based apartments have the attitude that poor people don't deserve a nice place to live, Michelle wants us to have a nice place to live and works very hard to ensure that even though we don't have a lot of money, we don't have to live in the slums.Remember, the managers don't live in these complexes and they don't have to care, but they do. All there hard work is for us, not themselves. As for the comment made by lisa j. regarding the Regional Manager, Bridgett Dellinger, personal attacks regarding your opinion of a persons appearance are not only extremely rude but absolutely unnecessary.I have never personally met Bridgett, however, attacking ones appearance is mean spirited and uncalled for. What do comments such as these say about your character? The accusations aimed toward the management team of Great Western Management are unfounded and frankly unprofessional not to mention illegal.

Okay your cool, Lets talk crap about the one who is keeping your apartment in good shape... Now lets grow up and realize that Michelle Loesekann is the reason why our apartments aren't dumpy, crack infested Ghetto's. So maybe you should take the time to realize that if it wasn't for her your car could be broken into, your baby could be kidnapped, or WORSE. So get a grip on yourself and have some appreciation!!!!!!!

I would prefer to give a rating of "no stars" versus the one star, since they don't even deserve the one...I rent an apartment from Great Western Management, and the current landlord treats me like an employee, instead of someone she is providing a service to. She leaves the rudest tendant's notices! Instead of asking nicely for us to something, she commands. For example, we are having our outdoor storage closest renovated. These were her exact words telling us to have them empty for the construction company doing the job: "You MUST make sure your storage building is completely empty by tomorrow eveing. No exceptions!"

No exceptions? You could have asked nicely. That sounds more like a threat than a request to me.

She also came in and took down my chain locks, that I had gotten approved by the former landlord. I use them to keep my TWO-YEAR-OLD from getting outside while I go to the bathroom, because he can get out of the door in two seconds without them in place. Thanks for endangering my child's life, Michelle Loesekann. They did have them back in place two hours later, but I did have to make a huge scene, and mention a child endangerment lawsuit if he were to get outside and get hurt. I told her the reason I had them installed in the first place (to protect my child), why on earth would you take them down after that?! Mind you, the two reasons she gave me for taking them down were "what if there's an emergency?" and "I don't have time to wait for five minutes while people get dressed and go to the bathroom before they answer the door during apartment inspections." First of all, every emergency vehicle is equipped with bolt cutters, not to mention chain locks can easily be kicked in, they aren't really used for home protection. Secondly, she told me she walked in on people while they were getting dressed and using the bathroom!!! Seriously?!? When I asked her about that, she didn't respond. What could she say to justify that?

When I called to complain about her behavior, the company didn't do anything about it but refer me back to her. The regional and district managers don't work out of an office, and they don't have business numbers, only personal cell numbers that cannot be given out. That right there should tell you everything you need to know. If you can't get in touch with someone in higher management, the business is obviously ran poorly and/or has something to hide.

It's not surprising that the only reviews I've found for this company are negative.

Save yourself the hassle, and don't rent from them!

Agree totally! Looks like the company has a habit of hiring witches. Bridgett Dellinger, aka Regional Manager is also very poor in judgement she is a terrible smoker and looks like someone drug her around by the face and hair and she deceides whom lives at the properties. She is uneducated and feels threatened when she is challeged or she may lose her status. She hirers people that can't read or write so she can deal the cards. I would not be surprised if these women are stealing from George Morasani and Great Western Management Co...

Sounds like the review that was written is from someone who no longer works for the company and is very upset and being vicious. You need to be careful what is written about people due to the repocusions might not be too your liking.Do not judge this company by these reviews because I have lived in one of there apartments for a long time and have always received great service with excellent management team. This is what is wrong with our world people go around and say nasty things and try to hurt everyone instead of taking a long look at theirselves.

This has become one of the poorest run property management companies in NC. The properties are run down and not kept up. One of the biggest mistakes the company has is Pam Clontz. She is very self centered and egotistical. The girl needs to learn some manners and develop social skills such as "human kindness". To give her power was to create a monster.

Morosani needs to pay more attention to what she is doing to her managers and properties.

I have worked for this company for over 10 years and love it and find the management team to be excellent. Everyone is not going to agree with all the rules..but rules have to be followed. Pam is a excellent General Manager and always has the best of the company in every decision she has to make. Before everyone critizes her take the time to understand she has alot on her plate and tries to do everything by the book and also tries to keep residents, managers, and RD happy. Could you feel her shoes??? I do not think so.
