Web and Print Specialist Relocating to Area

I am moving to the Asheville area from Boston MA, and I am currently looking for a new position in the design field.
I have a great deal to offer, as I have over 9 years professional web and graphic design experience. My career as a Creative Director has been spent as a Graphic Designer and Web Developer, designing catalogs, print ads, websites, email campaigns, banners and all other aspects of marketing for a multi-channel retailer. I am an expert in both print and web design programs and have my degree with honors in Fine Art.
For the past 5 years, I have been designing the company’s 48 page product catalog. I oversaw the catalog on press and prepared and retouched all the photos. I am also in charge of the look and feel of the online store and maintaining the continuity between the two. I have designed logos, letterhead, business cards, direct mailers and packaging for many products. As a fine artist, my illustration skills have come in handy on multiple occasions, creating unique and powerful imagery.
As a Web Developer, I’ve designed many user interfaces, which work with such technologies as Ajax, JavaScript and CSS. I have performed search engine optimization, worked within dynamic content management systems and multiple e-commerce store platforms. Every week for the past 5 years I have developed email campaigns – creating the advertisement design and copy, and then coding the HTML including embedded styles sheets and HBX tracking links. I have had experience with usability studies, designing informational architecture and wire frames. I take into account browser compatibilities, and the proven methods for an over all user-friendly experience.
