Information: The 1998 Ford Taurus LX is owned by a mature, nonsmoking adult. It was originally purchased as a secondary vehicle for my business and I've only put a little over 6,000 miles on it during a 10-month period. I've had no major problems with it (except for recently changing the catalytic converter) and I've changed the oil and oil filter every 3,000 miles, including upon purchase. I am selling the car because I no longer need it for my business and I already have 2 other vehicles. The car has 113,286 miles, there are no problems with the transmission, and the tires are in excellent condition with 75%-80% of their tread. The car gets very good gas mileage as well, 28-32 miles per gallon. There is no rust. There are some minor dings and dents on the side of the car and a few light scuff marks. The roof is dented near the driver's and passenger's side door (previous owner stated a medium-sized tree branch fell on the car during the ice storm in Asheville some years ago). However, the dent is only cosmetic and in no way has damaged the interior ceiling. The interior is in excellent, smoke/animal-free condition. The cloth seats have no rips or stains, CD player and stereo are in excellent working condition, and the air conditioning and heating system work perfectly. The power door locks and power windows all work. The car is equipped with dual front airbags and has 6 seatbelts. The truck is very large and perfect for storage. A spare tire and jack are included. I am asking $2,300 OBO - slightly below its Kelley Blue Book value due to the minor cosmetic damages listed above.
