Customer Service Rep - Temp

This medical billing office has an 8-12 week position available in customer service filling in for an employee out on maternity leave.



The selected candidate will answer incoming phone calls from patients, insurance companies and medical professionals who are inquiring about the status of a bill, requesting an extra copy of a bill, or asking about insurance coverage.



It is important that the customer service representative has excellent communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to answer a busy multi-line phone system with professionalism. When not directly in contact with customers, the person in this position will document the results of the call in the computer system, file paperwork, assist the accounts receivable department with clerical work and process mail.



A high school diploma or GED is required for this position. Good multitasking skills, a helpful attitude and some experience in a medical office is preferred. General computer literacy and average data entry skills are required.
